Homebuyer Day 2026

Join us! This stellar event is hosted by NeighborWorks Orange County and the City of Garden Grove at the Garden Grove Community Meeting Center for a FREE Homebuyer Fair on Saturday, October 3, 2026 from 10:00 am – 2:00pm.
First-time homebuyers will be provided with information on down payment assistance programs of up to $120,000, access to community lending partners to ask questions, realtors and key resourses to assist in the homebuying journey .
Food and refreshments will be provided! Participants can take part in opportunity drawings throughout the day. This event free and family-friendly.

FREE Rental Counseling
Our HUD-Certified Housing Counselors can help with identifying available resources to determine rent affordability and sustainability. Counselors can help you understand monthly budgeting, good rental practices and learn about your rights and responsibilities as a tenant. We are here to help you every step of the way, at no cost to you!

8-Hour HUD Approved Homebuyer Education Class
This virtual course is scheduled on Saturday’s from 8:30am – 4:30pm and geared for first time homebuyers who will be purchasing within one year, are currently in escrow or wanting to get a better understanding of the homebuying process. This HUD Approved Class is $30 per person with registration deadline three days prior to the scheduled course.

Our 90-minute entry-level webinar is designed to prepare homebuyers with the fundamentals of becoming mortgage ready. Home buying related topics will be presented along with information for down payment programs from community lending partners, city and non-profit community partners.
