At NeighborWorks Orange County, our mission is to empower individuals and families to build wealth through homeownership, financial education, and access to affordable housing. As we reflect on the past year, we’re proud to share the impact we’ve made together with our partners, supporters, and the communities we serve.
In Fiscal Year 2024, NWOC helped create 158 new homeowners and preserve homeownership for 589 families. Our team counseled and educated 1,425 individuals, offering the knowledge and tools to navigate today’s housing market confidently.
Thanks to our dedicated staff and strategic partners, we also managed or owned 482 rental homes, supported the creation or maintenance of 91 jobs, and facilitated over $165 million in total investment—including $2.25 million in commercial lending directly from our organization.
This year’s progress is a testament to the power of community and our unwavering commitment to building a stronger, more equitable Orange County.
