NWOC Hosted Its First Homebuyer Club

In January, NWOC successfully hosted the first session of our new Homebuyer Club, marking the start of an exciting six-month pilot program designed to support first-time homebuyers.

The Homebuyer Club was created to help participants confidently navigate the homebuying process by strengthening finances, increasing credit scores, growing savings, reducing debt, and learning about available down payment assistance programs. The Club meets monthly on the third Thursday of each month from 5:45–7:15 p.m. and will continue for six consecutive months.

Most sessions are held virtually via Zoom and feature guidance from trusted community partners, including housing counselors, lenders, real estate professionals, and tax strategists. The program brings together up to future homebuyers in a supportive, educational environment focused on building the tools and knowledge needed to achieve the goal of homeownership.

We’re excited to see this program grow and look forward to continuing the Homebuyer Club throughout 2026.
