2024–2025 Impact: Outcomes Report Highlights

In the past year, NeighborWorks Orange County served 1,667 individuals, helping families move closer to the dream of homeownership through education, counseling, community events, and innovative housing solutions. From homebuyer workshops and reverse mortgage counseling to financial coaching and our first-ever ADU Forum, together, we have continued to deliver meaningful impact.

We’re proud to continue expanding our reach and deepening our impact across the region.

Partner Spotlight: Farmers & Merchants Bank Advances Our Impact

Stellar week at NeighborWorks Orange County as we closed the week of July 21, 2025 with a visit from Farmers & Merchants Bank with $20,000 to support our efforts in building financial wealth through homeownership. NeighborWorks Orange County prides itself in its 48 years of attaining and sustaining wealth through homeownership. Thank you Farmers & Merchants for supporting our mission!

Advancing Homeownership Fair

On July 19, NWOC partnered with Wells Fargo to host an impactful event at the Garden Grove Community Center. Over 120 first-time homebuyers attended to learn about down payment assistance and local resources.

Wells Fargo’s $10,000 grant program was a key highlight, with support from our HUD Certified Counselors (offering services in English, Spanish, and Vietnamese), as well as agencies like FACE, VAREP, Homeownership OC, AREAA, NAHREP, New Haven, NEW Economics for Women, and the Shalom Center, which are all aligned in our shared mission of building wealth through homeownership.

Ahead of the event, Sahara Garcia, VP of Community Impact at NeighborWorks Orange County, conducted two live interviews on Telemundo 52, where she promoted the event and highlighted the work of NWOC as a trusted resource for the community.
